Scott Kelby's World Wide Photowalk

For the longest time, I have used my kit lens once again. This time I took a challenge for myself to just use my kit lens (18-55) during Scott Kelby’s World Wide Photowalk, now on its 3rd year.

In Cebu City, Philippines around 200 hundred photographers gathered for this yearly event. The photowalk started from Magellan’s Cross going to Freedom Park, then Colon Street and ended at Cebu Cathedral.

I was not able to plan what theme to look for during the shoot (I usually think of something prior to every photo event) but my subconscious tells me to shoot human interest, so here are some of my shots for that day.

P.S: My kit lens never fails to amuse me. The range is so versatile, you can shoot a decent landscape and decent close-up/portrait shot.

A Break from Hibernation

Just a quick post to break my long hibernation. Ok, it was a forced hibernation as I was so busy with the real world.

Just a couple of days ago a friend of mine, a fellow working student during my college days called me to request for a photoshoot with him and his fiance. It was so urgent that I just have to bring my camera with me to the office and wait 'til end of my office hours then we'll meet.

It was like already 8 in the evening and I have no idea where to do our photoshoot. They say just quick snapshots with them together to be used as give away picture for the guests for their coming wedding. So I just decided that we eat our dinner first and do the shoot on that restaurant of choice.

I haven't talked with my friend for a long while so the session was like all chitchat and eating. I just took random snapshots with the couple while we are having our dinner and here are the results.

You don't need to be in a fancy or remote place to do a Prenuptial Photoshoot.
