I had always celebrated Christmas together with my family and relatives, we exchanged gift on Christmas eve, overnight party on the street, boastful throwing of fire crackers at each other which can be annoying, dangerous but fun at the same time, the noche buena and the never dying "tagay-tagay". This time it's different, I had a quite day and just pondered how fun Christmas is back home. Had I stayed at my HDB the whole day it would have meant another day wasted and not just an ordinary day wasted but Christmas day wasted. Don't mind the redundant "day wasted" thing I made it on purpose :)
Anyway, I decided to go downtown and see if there are any Christmas related activities. This is my first time spending Christmas away from home, away from my family and in a culture different from mine, so I was hoping to see something different and something spectacular. I was expecting some fireworks but what was there was something new to me, it may have rained but that didn't stop the people from doing their way of celebrating Christmas.
