peek-a-boo Most of us tends to go out of town just to take beautiful scenery or to find interesting subjects when most of the time there are unnoticed things interesting enough just within our home. It's just a matter of how we look at these things creatively. The idea of making those uninteresting things look interesting on the photos that we create is quite a challenge.

There are lots of things around us that we don't notice because we are already used to look at them most of the time, making them the not so interesting objects for our viewfinder to frame.

A little practice, proper placement of subjects and use of natural lights brings out the beauty of these things. No fancy photography or lighting equipments just our imagination.

Here are some of my shots taken just around my place:

Boss Sponge Bob
Sponge Bob stuffed toy properly placed on chair. The overall yellowness of the toy creates a nice contrast with the dark bluish background. He's the boss.

Debt Collection
I was in front of my computer surfing the net when I saw these just beside me being properly illuminated by the window light. The cap is a favorite of mine, the notebook... my mom use it when she's watching cooking shows on TV.

A Pair of Shoes
This pair of shoes already served me for years and is still serving me. There was a blackout in our place so I stayed outside since it's very hot and humid inside and saw this sneaker with the ambiance light wonderfully falls to it.

Partners in Crime
I find it interesting how these two objects(a broom and a sprinkler) are placed together. The line patterns and textures on the wall adds depth to the photo. This shot was taken around 5am in the morning.

If you're bored and have nothing to do at home look around and you might find a subject that is worth an exhibit in the future.
